Hope they make a Season 2 in Japan, such a good show :3
If/When they make a S2, it would have to be a 1-cour show covering the GGO arc since everything after that (chronologically) is all one arc (which isn’t even finished yet and which the author plans to drag out for another 3 volumes of LN.)
I don’t remember exactly where the transition was between arcs either, so if it was a cliffhanger at the end of GGO, then they would have to either cut it or replace it with a new ending >_<
Would take like a year to cover all of GGO/Alice and haven't heard of too many new productions like that that any company is willing to take on nowadays.
tl;dr: It would be awesome if they do a S2 sometime soon, but more likely to be held off till Alice is done. 🙁
