This was… unexpected. Haven;t watched Naruto since about ep 50 of Shippuuden though.
Just saw this on the Nibl botlist and thought “Doki did the Naruto movie, wtf? Has to be a troll release (not by Doki), it’s even faster out than Taka’s version.”
So yeah… any info on this version concerning attack names, character names, honorifics, etc.? You didn’t make effects for attack names (looking at Hatsuyuki), or did you?
I’m just asking as Doki has never released anything Naruto, or similar Shounen lol, so I’m not sure on this^^
No special effects for the attack names.
Most of them are translated.
Characters just have… their names.
honourifics are kept.

But why in the world 720p is 2.25GB and 1080p is 2.79GB?? Seems illogical :/
From what I understand it’s probably because both are FLAC audio and it’s actually the audio track that makes up most of the size of both.
I don’t like FLAC. Far too much space wasted for sound quality that doesn’t make a difference to me.
Wow a Blu-ray of a naruto movie really? i always though this movies were only release in shitty DVD quality. Wasn’t planning to watch it but i guess i will do it now.

As others have said, this is unexpected. I have seen the Hatsuyuki 720p release of this, and I’m waiting for Taka now. If anyone is wondering if it’s worth seeing in 1080p, I’d say it’s not, as its a fairly soft-looking movie. Something like Karigurashi no Arrietty really shines at 1080p. Even though I might not download this, thanks anyway, Doki. I hope to see the Hanasaku Iroha and Denpa Onna BDs get done sometime, too.
