It’s called Miyakawa-ke no KΕ«fuku and all the Lucky Star cast return(Except Miyuki?), though it has new characters.

Akira Kogami looks like she has more of a role too, and last the english name for the show is, The Miyakawa Family’s Hunger.

It has quite a cast behind it, including known directors. Sounds promising.
Ah, ye, I forgot all about that one! XP Thanks for reminding me, it looks awesome! ^^ That said, it looks like Kagami, Tsukasa, Konata, and Akira are the only returning characters from Lucky Star (though those are the most important ones I guess), so “all the Lucky Star cast return(Except Miyuki?)” is a highly exaggerated statement Rawr. π The 4 main girls in Lucky Star weren’t the only ones you know, there were a ton of others as well. Kagami’s two friends from her class, Konata’s cousin, and her 3 friends from her class being the notable ones.
Sorry about that, I originally meant to put main cast there but somehow forgot.
Still I wonder what sub group will do this show? On the bright side, Lucky Star was quite popular so I’m guessing a few groups will pick the spinoff up.
I’m not aware of the book the show is based on so I’m not sure in what capacity Konata, and everyone else from Lucky Star appear in, as they have listed entirely new main characters too.
Guessing they’l have less screen time but appear most episodes?

Something seems to be wrong with 720p episode 8. When checking with a torrent client the file is as it should be on the torrent but the file’s CRC32 is E94F1B30 instead of A27F4508. And there are some encoding problems at 2:56: http://i.imgur.com/v2VDeVW.jpg
the file corrupted on your end. I checked my CRC and it is correct, and I have no glitch at 2:56. I suggest rechecking the torrent.
I tried with a different PC running a different OS and a different Bittorrent client, downloading it from the torrent you link on this page. I still got a file with the CRC32 of E94F1B30.
But I also decided to download it via XDCC from your bot and that file has the correct CRC and has no glitches. So it seems like there is a problem with the torrent.
That is very interesting. The torrent itself corrupted… I’ll swap the torrent and everyone will need to re-DL the torrent, recheck and continue.

The EnA subtrack for episode 7 is missing the opening translation, preview timing is a bit off and the preview line for ‘de mou jikan’ or something like that seems to be missing.

While I know that this post is a little late, and that Holo’s PC is temporarily out-of-order, I want to suggest that Lucky Star Vol 6 be released next. This is because Volume 6 is the rarest Lucky Star volume in America, this is because it went out of print (it is almost nonexistent on Amazon and Ebay) Chances are that most people with all the Lucky Star BDs are missing Lucky Star Vol. 6. So it might attract more people to Doki if volume six was released earlier so that many of those who have the other BDs can complete their collections. This is just a suggestion, and I thank Doki for their excellent quality releases. π
Doki doesn’t need to release the next Lucky Star to the website to get more hits though, the website has always been popular, though there have been slow periods where there haven’t been loads of comments.
Anyways I’m not sure what Volume 6 being rare has to do with anything, people can just download the DVD episodes that are plentiful online if they’re that desperate to watch..
