So why waste your time and translating something that’s already been translated when you could be using that time/talent to translate something that hasn’t been done yet?
Because subdesu often messes up the translation, the editing, the video and the typesetting.
Ah I wasn’t aware the fuck ups were more than just a shit script but it is SubDesu so it doesn’t really surprise me
If you’d seen Subdesu-h version of this, I’m sure you would understand our urge to do this.

I’m aware of the fuck up of that which SubDesu is but I don’t really know why it would matter when it comes to hentai I mean the last thing most people should and would be interested in is the subs lol
I may not be very demanding about the subs on hentai but there’s some limits. The typesetting should not bleed like 2 times per ep on average (with like 3 sings), the video is terribad and >.mp4. Bleeding subs are really a pain and make me want to kill the QC and TS that can do this not just once but with most releases.

A silly ques to ask but the 8bit and 10bit releases…would those make much differences in quality?? They are both around the same size …only 5mb difference.
At 480p, Hi10 or h264 doesn’t change the size much.

Not a complain, mate. I always prefer 10bit files over 8bit mostly because it saves quite a lot space. Of course there is quality to consider.
But here file size is only 5mb less. So I thought maybe video compression was not that high and so quality would be almost same.

Is this H of exceptional quality for Doki to sub it? I can’t say the description would have made me consider checking it out, but perhaps I should if a group of Doki’s calibre suddenly chose to translate it.

Honestly I don’t differentiate that much between regular anime and hentai if the hentai I’m speaking has really good story, nice artwork and of course, free from tentacles, rape, futanari and other weird stuffs.
You know sometimes hentai has more plot than some animes which are completely about fanservice (won’t say any names but you know what I mean)
So true, some hentai is actually really well made. You do have your bad, but damn you also have your bad anime too.

Lol, haven’t seen a hentai release from Doki since the Princess Lover OVA’s (which were terribad imo…The OVA’s that is, not Doki’s translation of them). 😛 So will Doki be subbing H regularly from now on (if so, I’m all for it! 😛 ), or will there be another two years until next time? 😛 As for this show in particular…I suspected as much when I saw it was a TheThing project, but I looked it up on AniDB, and: “Lolicon”. Yup. 😉 I’ll be checking this one out since Doki is doing it though. 😀
Although I’m no expert of hentai compared to some here, I’m sure, but this turned out to be so vanilla that the description’s “incest” and “lolicon” were as near the border as the anime could get away with and not be called a liar. Of course that suits me just fine as incest is normally a turn-off for me and real lolicon isn’t typically my cup of tea either. But yeah, this is a lot better than the abysmal Princess Lover OVA. I’ll be looking forward to Doki’s next hentai project if this is setting a gentlemanly trend.
Agreed, not sure why they classified this OVA as lolicon or incest but meh, never understood the genre system in anidb.

Agreed as well. Much better than Princess Lover, and I also wouldn’t call this lolicon. The incest tag is fitting though. Pretty normal procedure to have one of those when it’s brother and sister, even if they’re just step-siblings. Anyway, I actually quite liked this one, as it was actually kind of sweet and pleasant. 😛 Not what I expected before I watched it. Keep ’em coming! 🙂
