Holo has been quiet for a long time now…I guess he’s extremely busy with studies and/or not that intersted in fansubbing anymore. I’m waited for him to finish Clannad After Story Hi10P for a long time, sure, but I still have the 8-bit release, so I’ll live. What I really want him to finish is the Lucky Star BD’s…It’s been over 2 years now…
I doubt he’s lost interested in fansubbing, we usually have a quiet period where Holo isn’t active and Ixlone + Dys take over the release stuff. Though It’s been more Ixlone and Teg lately. I’m sure Holo will be back when he’s ready.
Remember last year when it was all Ixlone and Dys?
I remember. 😉 Still, over 2 years is a really, really long time. As for Dys, he’s not really active anymore.
Still, Ixlone has done a great job over the years and would make a good leader if Holo ever stepped down(Which I hope he doesn’t). He’s done well taking the reigns of Doki whilst Holo has been away.
Forgot to say TheThing has done good with his releases too 🙂

I was (or still am) comparing the subtitles of Toradora. I got the official DVD subtitles with Exiled-Destiny’s release, the Dmon subtitles (gg and others) that you’re using too, and AniYoshi’s.
The official subs are not bad, but I feel they lack some sort of polish and sometimes they are a bit harsh. (try comparing the first scene of episode 2 for example).
AniYoshi’s own subtitles aren’t bad either but have some errors sometimes and so far I actually prefer the Dmon subtitles, which I didn’t think would happen.
I’d really like to know if you considered and checked other available subtitles too before going with the Dmon ones, and what your thoughts were/are about them.
Oh, and do you have further information regarding the batch release with the special? Anxiously awaiting that one. Thanks!
