First of all, thank you very much.
Since I’ve stuck with UTW since the first ep, how are the Crunchyroll subs you used in comparison?
UTW is basically edited Crunchyroll like ours is so not much to be said to begin with.
That doesn’t mean there isn’t a difference. Each week I’ve watched the HS CR-rip of SAO followed by the later UTWoots release. If they match up on even 10% of the lines, I’d be surprised. The CR translations are pretty good, but the UTWoots versions are the ones in my archives.
I really enjoy Doki’s subs as well, and I trust you’ll make good use of the CR reference, so I’m not complaining, mind you! In fact, thanks very much for putting these out!

If they are edited for your own styles and made proper subs I may download otherwise I will wait for UTW make the BD release or find another one and if they don’t do it.

UTW edited CR subs. They don’t say it much but lately most of their shows are CR edits (they may be much better they still used CR)

Did anyone compared Doki’s release to CoalGirl’s release? I also think UTW will provide BD releases, but, who knows when…
CG usually uses unnecessarily high bitrates (after their release of Another with 20gb, I believe in anything).
But the file size of Doki’s SAO 1080p is half of CG’s. So, if anyone could compare the quality would be good. I would do it myself but my upload speed is really bad to keep sharing releases from several fansubs.
Remark: I’m not saying that CG is better than Doki’s. I’m just wondering if the extra bitrate is worth (usually not).
Also, comparing the 720p to 1080p, is the 1080p worth?

Doki’s Slightly sharper, loot at Klein lines on the white part, it easier to see.
Though i knew Doki will be better, i did tons of anime comparison between Doki & Coalgirls, and doki was always better (there are some people though who actually prefer the slight blurriness – i dont know why).
Agree. Doki’s release is a bit sharper. Also, considering that Doki’s has half of the file size, it is better than CG’s.

I bet I’m one of the few guys around here who am like this, but I find all the lovey-dovey stuff between Asuna and Kirito in this show adorable. ^^ I would love to have even more. Guess I’m a bit of a romantic. ┐(￣ー￣)┌ I love sexyness, ecchi, fanservice and all that, but a bit of cuddling is also nice. I missed that in Clannad for instance. Nagisa and Tomoya never even so much as kissed a single time…
