I didn’t complain about this in ep2 comments but now in ep3 it’s just inconsistent. I’m talking about how Luca and Liberta refers to Felicita. In ep2 Liberta calls her ‘ojou’ which is translated as ‘milady’. Luca calls her ‘ojou-sama’ and it’s translated as ‘princess’ (which I can understand since he’s her personal servant or something). In ep3 both Luca’s ‘ojou-sama’ and Liberta’s ‘ojou’ are translated as ‘princess’. Be consistent, please.
If you ask me neither ought to be translated as “Princess” in the first place, as that would be “hime” or “hime-sama”. “Milady” or “young lady” is more correct. Just my two cents. ┐(￣ー￣)┌
Obviously you are refering to the 3 times I saw, that Ojou was translated as Princess. Mind you I didn’t watch the episode fully, just skimmed through it. So I might have missed a one or two more; In both cases. To point it out I gathered some times:
Liberta calls her Milady for the majority of the first half of the show, from what I saw.
11:30 Liberta’s casual “Ojou” formerly translated Milady, became Princess like Luca’s “Ojou-sama”
13:13 Debito’s first time saying I notived him saying “Ojou” translated as Princess, weird him not saying bambina. XD
17:17 Liberta’s casual “Ojou”, again was Princess.
The first two episodes were consistant in terms of Milady/Ojou and Princess/Ojou-sama.
No complaint from me either way, just pointing it out. Besides these arethe test run for the translators, right? I mean the final script will be adjusted for the batches or BD, right?
