The Coalgirls release contains an extra episode, episode 13 special. Why is that?

Our ep 13 is the same as coalgirls’ “special” in terms of length and source.
Did some research, and it appears THORA’s version is as well. Guess for some reason Coalgirls were the only ones that actually put “special” in the name of the episode to differentiate it from the regular version that doesn’t include the 3-minute epilogue lol.
I didn’t even know this existed. I’ll give it a try.
Hmm…I already have THORA’s version, so I’m unsure if there’s any point in grabbing this version instead….I didn’t know about that 3 minute Epilogue thing in episode 13 though. Guess I’ll grab just that and nothing else from Coalgirls’ release, and add it to my collection.
Also, how come neither your release nor THORA’s include the 8 1-minute DVD specials? Are they that worthless? Coalgirls did those, so I’m getting them from them.
I was originally thinking about getting this series from THORA, but now that you guys released it, I’m at a predicament. THORA’s filesizes are quite higher, which leads me to think they have better quality (but, they’re not 10-bit).
I don’t know… can anyone help? How much different is Doki’s release than that of THORA’s?
Don’t fret so much about which has the better video quality, as there’s probably no difference between Doki’s and THORA’s version that you would be able to notice anyway. What you should base your choice on is the translation. Doki’s version has their own translation, while THORA’s uses edited versions of the official English subs from the BD.
Personally, I have no idea which is better, but I heard good things about THORA’s release, and I already have that one, so I don’t think I’m gonna download this one as well, just to compare and find the most “perfect” release…
In case anyone actually cares (read: I don’t), THORA’s version doesn’t translate the French line either. Don’t know about Coalgirls’ version.

if that all it takes to QC, maybe i should join up. seem like i DO a lot of speed read and often asked to read through essay. let me know wat it takes to speed read without actually watching the danged anime.

And, the last thing you want to do when QCing is “speed read”… Grammar, language and term consistency (was it toward or towards for this anime?), timing, encode, audio…

This(True Tears) was released by me. I am not on many of the backlogged projects. The other things are being worked on, I’m sure.
If we could release the things that are delayed \ stalled, we would.
There are different people on different projects; People disappear quite often, and that causes delays as well.
Have patience. And if not, get what you’re waiting for elsewhere, there are those of us willing to wait.
To think that I just got Coalgirls version, this one came out. I’m going to watch this version instead.
