So I got the torrents last night and downloaded them while asleep. I then wake up and find a batch lol.
Ah, crap, why did I download all the movies seperately quite recently? >_< Oh well…out with the old versions and in with the fixed ones. Good stuff. Thanks for this! ; )
Hm..is there something worng with the first encode from the 1st ep in 720p? If it’s just re-encode without any big difference, can I just keep the one from the 1st release?

I would recommend something like, downloading the 10bit 720 and running it through xmedia recode, which can be found here:
http://www.videohelp.com/tools/XMedia-Recode
Select “matroska video”, “add job”, “encode”
and it’ll convert one of these episodes for you in a couple of hours, give or take.
now it can handle Hi10P? wow 🙂

BDs have DTS HDMA 5.1 24 bit audio, so why did you make FLAC 2.0 16 bit encodes?
What is up with people wanting the 5.1 24bit audio?
The 5.1 is almost understandable, but you’re getting 16bit because it’s half the size of the 24 with no noticeable difference.
I encoded from the LCPM source on the disc, not the DTSHD.
And I’m not going to be uploading 500+ MB of audio for each episode, spiking the filesize, for everybody, by about 25%.
I’ll take a look at the DTSHD sometime soon, but chances are, I won’t be supplying it.

The overall size of the DTSHD audio ALONE is 1.3X as large as the 1080p encodes:

Sorry, but because you don’t hear the difference between 16 & 24 bit audio doesn’t mean that others don’t hear it.
Also you never released a 5.1 16 bit audio to begin with but only a 2.0 16 bit audio.
And well, you can’t consider something lossless if you re-encode it from 24 to 16 bit.
You can’t tell the difference either.

After giving it some thought, and weighing up the existing whining vs the effort I’d have to make… download the BDMVs and do it yourself.
I’ve put enough into this project, encodes and scripts.
It’s closed off, it’s done, and I’m not going to add anything more to it. Moving on.

The 720p only has 2.0 audio… was encoding a 5.1 AAC too hard. That alone makes the 720p worthless.

No DDL for 01720pv2 yet; It’s a recode for the video.
For the 24-bit audio you can just mux them, simple as that.
