Thanks for the episode. However, I’d like to point out that when I was watching it, there was a moment from 11:42 – 11:46 where the video would stutter and the sound would cut off. I’m not sure how to explain, but did anyone else have this happen to them?
Was it when the scene was moving from the cleaner’s to the coin laundry? If so, that was due to the massive typesetting at that point.
I see, not really sure what that means (I’m not at all knowledgeable on the fan subbing lingo), but thanks for the info.
Does this mean, it can’t be fixed? It’s obviously not that big of a deal (it’s only 4 seconds long), but I thought I might as well ask.
Typesetting is the process of integrating translated texts into the image, like the “Jumbo Coin Laundry” sign in the scene you’re talking about, or for example the phone displays in earlier episodes. In softsubbed typesetting, lag is caused when your player can’t keep up with all the typesetting tags in the subtitle script.
Now, I’m not a typesetter so I really don’t know why the typesetting here needs to be so heavy as to cause lag, but I’m guessing it’s because the panning speed changes slightly during the shot. Still, I think myself the lag is quite excessive.
That because your PC’s GPU has not enough power to play/render the video + heavy softsub.
It happened to me before too when i played a heavy softsub file on a low GPU power PC, it lag to the point of freezing the video for few seconds, when i played the video by same PC with a more powerful GPU (changed with another a bit more powerful Video card) it played at more view fps and when i played it by the same media player + decoders on other PC has more CPU+GPU power it played perfectly.
Even though I’m running a Phenom II 3.2ghz quad on 4gb ram with an Nvidia GTX 285, the time at 11:42ish still lags for me. There’s no excuse for a $400 caliber video card to lag during simple 720p video. This isn’t supreme commander. It’s not even close to the render difference.
Maybe it’s my render codec being broken or something, but it’s definitely not simply because of a slow GPU.
Guys, I know I shouldn’t ask this here, but can you reupload the batches for KissXsis BD 720p and 1080p in torrent? I guess it’s not avaiable. Can someone fix that, please? :S

Right click, save as if you do.
Use Chrome, cuz it’s awesome, but you have to “Right Click -> Save Link As…” since the link isn’t set up correctly.
