Damn, you really used that pic! Shake it, Ami, shake it!
I think there are some typos in the subtitels. For example at 11:57 it´s st- instead of stage and on 13:10 it´s ido- instead of idol. So could you please check the subtitels for more typos and make a V2 ?
I’ve only seen Chibiki’s release for this episode, but I can tell you that it’s because those two lines correspond to incomplete thoughts – Doki translated the presumed complete sentence, then truncated the last bit to indicate she stopped talking part-way through. Hence the em-dash.
Usually I’d give a kind response to this kind of message but… do you think we’re completely stupid or something?
That means the line was in some way interrupted, we stopped the last word short to reflect that.
I´ve just watched it again, and for it seems that in both times she finished her sentence and didn´t stop talking part-way.
Look at 13:16 there she clearly didn´t finish her sentence.
The point is the interruption…
You can’t make a sentence seem interrupted if you finish it off cleanly with a period and all.

Don’t remember Doki dropping any series before, just stalled them indefinitely…
But I’m wondering what’s the state of mashiro-iro as well, would be nice to get a response

One quick note: It’s spelled practice, not practise, saw that mistake a few time throughout the episode :).
American vs. British spelling. Don’t call it a mistake, or a typo. It’s not.

Practice and practise are different words.
One is a noun and one is a verb.
No, it technically is American vs. British. We use “practice” for both forms.
Just wanted to comment that pihman (ピーマン) is bell pepper, not peas.

I noticed there’s no preview of the next episode after the ending song..that was kinda surprising..but I read somewhere in the net that the 19th episode will be on Takane so I guess I won’t be thinking about it until its release^^
nice episode though I wish they make ritsuko appear as a permanent idol soon..love to see the whole cast performing on stage..
