First release of the new season!
Hasegawa Kodaka has transferred schools, and he’s having a hard time making friends. It doesn’t help that his blond hair tends to make people think he’s a delinquent. One day, he runs into his bad-tempered solitary classmate Yozora while she’s talking animatedly to her imaginary friend Tomo. Realizing that neither of them have any actual friends, they decide that the best way to alter this situation is to form a club and start recruiting.
That is how “Rinjinbu”, The Neighbours’ Club, was formed, a club specifically designed for people who don’t have very many friends. As other lonely classmates slowly join their little club, they’ll try to learn how to build friendships through cooking together, playing games, and other group activities. But will this group of relationship-challenged misfits really be able to get along?
After watching this OVA, I can’t wait!

Looks a bit like Denpa Onna from that pic, AIC are alright though so I’ll reserve judgement… Not really fair to compare them to SHAFT since SHAFT are all kinds of awesome.

I read on MAL that the art is done by the same person who did Denpa Onna, so that’s probably why :p, but yes I thought the same thing when I saw that pic…

Actually, the story has nothing to do with Denpa, or is nothing alike. This is Haruhi Suzumiya, if only you add a lot of fan service and put it on CRACK

This is all right to watch before the TV episode begins or does it start somewhere in the middle like Nichijou’s OVA?
It’s actually just the prologue chapter from the first novel. Which is nothing but a character and concept introduction and is actually otherwise unrelated to the plot.

Well…I have an horrible sensation that I’ll be disappointed by the anime adaptation. At least it’s not JC Staff who ruins quite a bit of light novel for me (not all, but some are pretty much better without anime)
I love the Light Novel of Bokutomo, and the manga isn’t bad either in fact, so I really do hope they keep up the good adapatation. The prologue didn’t had lots of contents, the adds were…okay I guess

Wait. Is Doki doing Haganai?! WOOT! BTW, according to the official author’s Romanization, it’s ‘ha’, not ‘wa’ (note the short form of the title is Haganai, not Waganai).

I think some of you may have missed the point (as in, since the oficial shortening is Haganai the official full title should be written with ha and not wa). It’s really not a big deal since the title is still correct.
