Hiya! Firstly, apologies for the delay on last week’s episode. I committed a cardinal sin of fansubbing by putting my social life first, and snuck off to a friend’s to watch movies, dance to ABBA, and eat pizza. :’D Sorry I kept you waiting! I hope you all had a lovely weekend.
Episode number nine! It doesn’t seem like long ago that we started this series, but the last however many weeks have absolutely flown by, and suddenly we only have two left. A big thanks to Caly, Psi and Holo for sticking with me this far, and to all of you for giving up twenty minutes of your time each week to watch our show. ^_^ I’ve loved watching it, and I hope you all have too!
This episode opens with a big storm brewing. In most shows, this would probably be cause for death / crisis / epic drama. In Usagi Drop, it’s simply cause for…well…more of the gentle, adorable sweetness the series has been full of to this point! Don’t apologize too much. Dancing to ABBA is way more important than an fansub. That particular chance to socialize will only happen once and the fansub will still be waiting when you’re done having a good time. After all, you’re offering a free product. Those of us who enjoy your work have no right or reason to complain when it’s late.
That’s how I look at it. Then again, I don’t think I’m entitled to anything that I didn’t work on. I’m old-fashioned that way.
So, please continue to brighten my Thursdays (and occasionally days later than that) with your enjoyable fansubbing of Usagi Drop. It’s the only reason for Thursday to exist, in my (never humble) opinion. Thank you and your crew for all the hard work!

Aww, the cuetness extends to dealing with real life issues first. Quite a contrast from the angry TL who tell you where to stick it if they’re busy with things. Seems to work better, too, going by the reactions.

Your brother’s band is pretty good. The songwriting is focused; there’s some memorable stuff there. The production is lacking, though. If they can get with a producer who knows what s/he’s doing, they’ll sound really good.
Just 2 more Usagi Drop episodes makes me sadface. Hanasaku Iroha’s ending soon too. .___.
