Totally agree with you on the BL issue. It’s heavily distracting my enjoyment of the series. Like they talk about conspiracies, then there’s a BL moment where they touch each other tenderly and profess their undying devotion to each other although indirectly. Nothing wrong with it in and of itself, but when they go out of their way to add in BL elements (a 3 minute dance sequence?) it really distracts from the plot. Why don’t they have an epic manly friendship like in Gurren Lagaan?

And does anyone know if there’s already been any word for a second season for this? noitaminA block or not, I really think No.6 is deserving of a second season, provided they don’t rush things or end this season with a made-for-TV custom ending that throws the remainder of the books out of the window.
