Actually, the Snickers segment was in the original manga, so KyoAni probably had to ask for permission. If you check the ending, you’ll see that Snickers is listed in the credits (I can’t read Japanese, but it’s probably in the “Special Thanks” section).
Yeah. It does seem random that they selected Snickers of all things, why not Pizza Hut? They seem to be involved in quite a few shows, like Code Geass.
I’m guessing the handy XDCC links at the front page are because of the annoying fileserve issues. It’s a good idea, at least until fileserve stops being stupid.

I liked the first OP better but the Tsubasa wo Kudasai ED was a nice surprise. I wonder how many people will watch it and think OMG it’s that K-ON song! lol
@Nagato: or rather think: “What the f**k is this Evangelion song doing in Nichijou?!” But well, i was surprised,it’s a really good interpretation of original song in this ED^^
