xD… since my HD system are setted-up on my PS3.. i just played it on Showtime… lol better than on my PC.
though you can only do this on homebrew PS3

On a different note, am I the only one who thinks this movie has wonnderful music? : ) I have the Ghibli Music collection, but it does not include the music from this one ofcourse. I’l have to get ahold of it someday.
Nice movie. On a side note, is that cat sort of a Studio Ghibli mascot, like the giant anteater in Key anime? I remember seeing that cat in “Whisper of the Heart” as well.
Now that you mention it, you’re right! I think he also appeared in “The Cat Returns”, now that I think about it…although I’m not quite sure. Ghibli’s official mascot though, is Totoro from “My Neighbour Totoro”. Also, that there is a giant ant eater appearing in all the Key-based anime made by Kyoto Animation is news to me, I never noticed. :-/ Highly intrigued if that really is the case though. Could you tell me examples of scenes in Air, Kanon, and Clannad where it appears?
In kanon it’s the birthday present for May. In Clannad is inside the Furukawa’s house usually in a corner in the living room. I forgot where it appears in Air.

Your TV probably does not support softsubs.
Is Doki planning on releasing any other Ghibli movies? I would absolutely LOVE to see some! Nausicaa, Laputa, Yamadas, and Whisper are out in Japan in 1080p and they look fantastic!!
