I still don’t get the editions idea, really. If you don’t want to watch the ED, skip it manually. It’s not like its a hard thing to do.

Holo, how do I edit the the mkv file to play the other edition by default?
you have to demux the file, get the xml file, edit the default edition to “1”. Then remux

You don’t need to demux :P. Just load the mkv in the chapter editor in mkvtoolnix, edit there, save it as an xml file and then remux :3

Does anyone watch Recap episodes? (ò_ô)
I don’t really see the point in them, if I wanted to remind myself of what happened I would watch a series again.
I don’t mind the editions, it seem right for the mood in episode 16. The only thing is, I like to watch Clannad Streaming to my PS3. I mean why get the 1080p version if I’m going to watch it on a 20in right? So I prefer to watch it on my 46in. But the Edition does funny things to streaming. Such as play edition 1 then have 1:30 mins of blank sceen.

Would you consider making a patch to change the editions around for those who don’t know how to use the mkvtoolnix programs?
It’s not a problem for me, but I’m aware that a lot of people don’t know how to use them.

76% of those polled (49% + 27%, or 426 out of 556 voters) are _against_ the skipped ED being the default, yet it’s been made the default once again. Are you planning to reverse the order of the editions for these two files in the batch? Or have you decided that the vote wasn’t sufficient to convince you guys to make the change? “If enough people disagree with my use of editions, I will remove it in the batch.” I figured the Nays had this in the bag but I guess not. Not for outright removal, of course — though 27% of the vote’s nothing to sneer at! — but certainly for getting the order of the editions switched around.
I feel bad for those who are already voicing tech complaints regarding the use of editions like Shadic did above. Something to certainly be wary of if you decide to go editions-crazy with future releases of other series.

Sorry. Though my sympathies towards Shadic and the others whose setups are being borked by editions still apply.
If people have a specific problem like Shadic they can always just remove the editions in mkvtoolnix’s programs.
You also shouldn’t create your episodes with poor software in mind, but rather the standard that everyone should be using. It’s like saying you shouldn’t use chapters because some people use VLC, even though it’s awful, and it struggles with them sometimes.
There’s nothing stopping him plugging his computer into his 46 inch television either.

Anyone else have problems with playback fluidity with ep21 during the transition Episode>ED: “To be continued” sign, music from the ED starts but the video falls behind and caches up soon after as it gets “stuck” on the “To be continued” a bit.
