Subs won’t show up in my player (mpc-hc), neither pressing “S”.
I extracted the subs from the .mkv, and tried to load them separately: as a .ass it won’t work, but converted to .srt works. Is there some kind of problem with the .ass script?
For some reason I hear “I pray that episode 9 will not be delayed” in Darth Vader’s voice. Probably because of his Cloud City line to Lando about praying he doesn’t alter the deal any further. The mental image, though, of Darth Vader praying Nichijou isn’t delayed is an amusing one, to say the least.

I haven’t heard anyone else having that problem.
