Apparently people forgot that the first Half of After Story consists of all the secondary character arcs (Miyazawa Yukine, Sunohara siblings and Sagara Misae to be precise). They never did the Kappai arc though… I guess they just hated Ryou.
Naw, they probably just felt she got enough airtime in the Alternate Kyou chapter anyway. Also, it’s good to see that Clannad After Story is atleast being worked on steadily. Wish the same would be the case for Haruhi and SHUFFLE…what does status “@Shini” even mean anyway?…will be interesting to see how the pace will be for Lucky Star, once work starts on that one.
I guess they did, although it would have been nice for them to give the poor girl some happiness in actual airtime, not implied like the Kyou route does. I can’t believe I wrote Hiiragi Kappei’s name wrong too.
As for the holdup with Shuffle and Haruhi, I can only guess that the person in charge is not putting out his/her share of work. Doki has a lot of members after all. It’s good to see that the big majority of them are working at a decent pace. The currently airing shows are up to date mostly and most of the new BD releases they’ve picked up are coming at a stable pace. It’s too bad about the late projects, but at the very least Shuffle was already worked by another group so there’s that.
As for the Tomoyo After game, I haven’t rechecked the forums but Doki hasn’t mentioned anything about using their already worked on material. That said, from what I could get from the heated discussion though, it seems baka-tsuki wasn’t really making much strides forward anyway so they must have taken Doki’s entry as their official excuse to step out.
Yea, we did take baka-tsuki’s work in the end, and are continuing from there they left off.
That is great news then. I hope you guys can pull it off and it would surely be interesting to see what other projects you will take once you finally have that first project completed.
