Since japanese have vocal-sound endings on all words except those that end with an “n” sound, it’s a fairly popular joke to write english words with a japanese “engrish” like pronounciation when in a japanese context/setting, because japanese often do that themselves when trying to pronounce english. You know, like “three thousandu dolleruu”. ; D Jecht was doing that. I’m surprised you didn’t know about this phenomenon.
