Check out the screenshot. I’ve filtered the 720p and made it acceptable, despite being upscaled. Similar quality to Seto no Hanayome 720p.
I am only doing the first (and perhaps second) ep. Shinisaki will be Project Leader for the rest of the series, and therefore Shuffle! won’t be subject the usual bottlenecking affecting my shows. I am still encoding though.

For this level of failupscale (480p to lol1080p), you would be better off releasing this series in 2 versions: 480p H.264 MKV and 480p XviD AVI. But that’s just me, you’re not going to listen to me anyway so yeah…
What’s the point of releasing a BD when you are just going to do 480p?
Have you even SEEN the existing Shuffle DVD rips ? Horrible, all of them. Froth-Bite’s AVI TV rips are still the best pick. The point is releasing some quality rips. So what if it says “BD” instead of “DVD” ? The source is 480p.
I have seen the DVD rips and I was the one who suggested this project. Obviously I will go on a defensive for this one.
As I am no encoder, I cannot tell the difference anyway. I also assume that majority of the leechers out there can’t tell the difference either. But I did gladly download the 720p even if it’s an upscale. The point is since there is a 480p, there should be no complains because it’s not like we are releasing only 720p and 1080p. Those who want the 480p which is the native resolution, should download that. Those who want the 720p despite being upscales will download it. But trust me, the download count will go to the 720p even if it’s terrible.
And If you are gunning for quality, why are you even suggesting a 480p XviD release?
I suggested an XviD release for 3 reasons:
1.I want it.
2.The votes on the left side of this page say that other people also want it.
3.Now that BOTH Eclipse and SS are releasing AVI again, Holo said he would consider bringing back XviDs. I was just reminding him.
Really SurferDude…Xvid and 480p. You are trying to make a point with the smallest percentages represented in those polls. I’ll say this, I doubt Doki would release something they truly think is crap. Also episodes in avi/xvid released today are a nice gesture from fansub groups nothing more.

Please explain the logic behind this. Doki does an awesome job, and I go to them first before any other group, but I do have to agree with Anon. It does seem like they are picking up way too many shows.

If that were the case for Seto no Hanayome then there would be no point to complain. But since it’s more like one or two episodes every month then there is a point to asking why they neglect their older projects.
What anon says. While Doki does a great job, they don’t seem to have the staff for all the numerous BD projects they pick up. Just finish what you guys started instead of thinning out to cover for more and more new projects.
