Ok guys, I gave it some thought and I can’t seem to get anywhere, so, here’s the deal:
Should it be:
1) 1280×720 H264 BD FLAC @ 600-650 MB
or
2) 1280×720 H264 BD AAC @ 500-550 MB
Use the comments to “vote.” When I am done with the QC and stuff I will “count the votes” and decide. The other version will be 1920×1080 H264 BD FLAC @ 900 MB. No SD version.
——————————————————————————————————————————–
1) 1280×720 H264 BD FLAC @ 600-650 MB -> 25 votes.
2) 1280×720 H264 BD AAC @ 500-550 MB -> 60 votes.
Thanks for the feedback. Episode 1 will be out in a few hours. The encode for episode 2 is done but I haven’t started to work on it yet, and believe me, there are lots of improvements to be done to the scripts… Took me 9 hours to get this shit done and iirc episode 2 have 2 or even 3 times more signs *sigh*
Since the 1080p will be FLAC, the 720p should be AAC. (no SD makes me a sad panda ='( )
I’d say AAC since the 1080p will have Flac.
AAC the hell with FLAC.
2) 1280×720 H264 BD AAC @ 500-550 MB
koolaid!!!
I say AAC
2) 1280×720 H264 BD AAC
AAC all the way.
FLAC is cancer. I guess it was designed for AniDB elitist fags or something.
1280×720 H264 BD FLAC @ 600-650 MB
If you internet is to slow to download an extra 150mbs you shouldn’t be here.
Although it is 720p and I will be downloading the 1080p only.
Unfortunately, majority is against me. But i will still hold on to my tastes. Just 100MB more for FLAC? HELL YEAH!!!
1280×720 H264 BD FLAC @ 600-650 MB —> WIN!!!
If there is SD, then Flac on the HD has got to be good. If no SD, and the AAC/Flac can be easily converted along with the vid to 480p then FLAC, please. I will download the 1080p always, if it is better, but want to make DVDs too. sorry for lack of brevity.
I think it is better to have an AAC as it is more widely supported by media players. not the pc based but the likes of WDTV and those sort of USB storage media players.
Option number two for me as AAC has the smaller file size.
But overall, it’s fine both ways, since soundwise it’ll be the same thing.
I vote for the AAC audio. 🙂
I vote for AAC good sound and good size 😀
2) 1280×720 H264 BD AAC @ 500-550 MB
Or even smaller size if you can. I think that’s the key for most people.
AAC
2) 1280×720 H264 BD AAC @ 500-550 MB
I say go with AAC. The people who’ll want the 720p version will appreciate a reduced file size more than the FLAC audio. I’ll be going with the 1080p myself.
AAC please.
People who are sticklers for quality will be going for 1080p anyway. In response to someone up there: if I’m going for 720p it’s not the bandwidth that’s the problem, it’s archival HDD space.
AAC
Because the trans-coder (streamtome and ps3ms)I some times use to stream to my phone and ps3 don’t handle flac very well.
ACC>FLAC
i vote ACC….. FLAC is too awesome XP
AAC* im fking stupid
I vote AAC for 720p. Save the FLAC for the 1080p.
2) 1280×720 H264 BD AAC @ 500-550 MB
1280×720 H264 BD FLAC
