On the Blu-Ray Disk are 2 versions of the NCOP, featuring the extended version of Tori no Uta. Everything has been redrawn in HD. It looks amazing. There are slight differences in the animation sequences of both NCOPs, which I have named (A) and (B).
In the 720p and 1080p, the subtitles are turned off by default.
1080p (h264): [Doki] Air – NCOP (A) (1920×1080 h264 BD FLAC) [2EA65F7C].mkv
720p (h264): [Doki] Air – NCOP (A) (1280×720 h264 BD FLAC) [61ED14C1].mkv
480p (XviD): [Doki] Air – NCOP (A) (848×480 XviD BD MP3) [18D3DA02].avi
1080p (h264): [Doki] Air – NCOP (B) (1920×1080 h264 BD FLAC) [A7BEB5BE].mkv
720p (h264): [Doki] Air – NCOP (B) (1280×720 h264 BD FLAC) [00E58614].mkv

Awesome, thanks. 🙂
kudos to u
Thanks a lot for this :]
This series is quote the hizzle
Am I the only one that’s wondering why the OP has 1080 releases while the episodes only release up to 720? I just assumed that you guys weren’t doing 1080 because they would be upscales, am I missing something and just being super retarded?
The show’s an upscale. These OP’s are newly animated for 1080P.
“On the Blu-Ray Disk are 2 versions of the NCOP, featuring the extended version of Tori no Uta. Everything has been redrawn in HD.”
Did you read my post >_>
Ah, sorry. I didn’t equate redrawn with 1080 since 720 is technically considered HD too. It’s late ^^*. All that matters to me is that the new 1080 OP works well with the 720 release and that my splitter gets it right 😛
These 1080p NCOPs aren’t linked to the main episodes, so don’t worry. It’s just a little extra for you to watch and cry over.
Damn that does look amazing.
Sugoiiii….totally amazing…AIR made my heart break….:(
was because it was a long time ago? but i never noticed air op B lol, thx XD
I heard of the extended OP but never got to watch it…now I can fulfill it. 😀
Damn, you seriously need a High-End PC if you wanna watch the 1080p version WITH the karaoke enabled. I think my PC would be powerful enough (AMD 3,4 GHz Quadcore, ATI HD4850) but it lags like sh*t. So gotta disable the karaoke.
Woah, you serious? Lol
My lappy has an Intel i5 430 Dual core and Hd5470 and runs the 1080p fine with the subs.
Running a Core 2 Duo @ 2.53GHz with a Nvidia GeForce 9600m GT and using CUDA helps make everything play flawlessly. These make a nice little Media Test to make sure everything’s working. If you can play the 1080p, you can play anything~
I’m running Intel i5 (2.27 Ghz) with Intel HD IGP and it lags without the karaoke. Shit’s ridiculous 😛 I know IGP’s suck, but I have 4 GB of RAM and it dedicates 1.7 GB to graphics, which is why although I can’t play games, I’m supposed to be able to watch HD video. And I can usually watch 1080 releases. Shit’s ridiculous 😛
Might be a software problem. Uninstall your player and install Klite Codec Pack and use MPC and tell me what happens. Enable DXVA also.
If you’re not using CCCP + CoreAVC, switch over now.
Lol, So does this mean that the show will be re-drawn, and released in 1080p? =]
I’m not using any quality killing tools like Core AVC or so. Only ffdshow and madVR for my anime.
The show won’t be redrawn and released in 1080p because it’s only a (shitty) upscale. Even 720p looks only slightly better than the DVDs. If you still wanna have 1080p, there is a torrent on Nyaatorrents from Uguu~ . Doki’s 720p however looks much better than that.
I will provide comparison shots for the 1080p version of Uguu~ and a resized to 1080p version of my 720p.
The comparison for 720p can be found here.
There seem to be some major differences between uguu and Doki.
Which release is closer to the original BD image?
Probably uguu, the BD rip has been cleaned up and re-encoded by B-G before being used by Doki in their releases. The BD itself is an atrocious, eyecancerous upscale.
What I’m wondering is if the whole series is going to be redrawn because, (maybe it’s just me) this NCOP looks waaaaay nicer then the series Doki is releasing.
The series won’t be redrawn afaik. This is the best you’ll get (redrawn NCOP and upscaled series)
Sounds like bargaining ^
“Take the anime or leave it.”
HHHHNNNNNGGGGGGGGGG
I came SO hard. Thanks a bunch for this release.
Is it me, or the video contains some extra footage which I didn’t see in the main series? I watched Air quite a long time ago so can’t remember it exactly. If there is really some extra footage then where are they taken from?
Yes, there are scenes in these OPs that do not appear in the series. They would have been animated especially for these extended OPs.
Thanks for this! Too bad the BD release of Kanon or Clannad didn’t have this extra.
i’ll try using DXVA to play this NCOP
Are you releasing a batch of this anime ??
You’ll find the answer in the FAQ page, read #16.

yeah, right.
Word on the street is that the BDs do not contain episode 13 (the summary episode). If this is true, what do you plan on doing about that final ep?
Looking on anidb, it looks like ep13 was included on the DVD release of Air, so would you do the DVD version, or would you just drop the show at 12?
