- Big files because of grain (hand-drawn anime), even though reduced
- 1080p sometime in the future, when x265 is ready
- Liberal subs in American English (because changing this means rewriting everything for 161 episodes, not gonna do that)

Show like Ranma 1/2 needs honorifics when addressing characters names.
I have the 1080p versions of these files without subs. Is there any way I can extract the subs from these 720p files to use with mine? I’ve tried doing it with ffmpeg, but it only gets the R1 subs, not the OP subs, and then the time stamps are all off.
And you guys have done such a fantastic job with the fonts and placement of the subs and none of that transfers. Is what I’m wanting impossible? Does it require Aegisub or some other software I don’t have?
