The Blu-Ray is a 480p -> 1080p upscale it seems, and therefore, no 1080p.
Blu-Ray comes with dubs too. Opinion on the dub?
Looks like no dubs. I will release the dubs on its own (seperately) for the minority who are interested.

I like the dub actually, it’s one of the rare times that the quality of the dubs are good.(inb4 trolling)
Gods have mercy, that 1080p is awful. But the upscale from 480p sounds strange, normally it would be 720p. Don’t mind dubs.
dub = waste of time, file size, thus money.
Really happy about this. ^^ Thanks Doki! Also, really glad that you’re using Froth-Bite’s subs. Their translation for this show is defenitely the best out there. As for dubs, while I can survive the extra filesize (as long as the default audio track is in japanese), since I have a big harddrive, and room for many more if necessary, I have no use for them, so if I got to choose, I would defenitely say no. No thanks. I honestly hate dubs.

Those screenshots look almost as bad as the Kara no Kyoukai upscales seen recently. It seems as though the studios are simply cashing in on the popularity of Blu-ray.
As for the dubs… I’d give them a miss.

Difference of a 100/200MB whatever space, just accept the freaking dub all if folks want ’em.
This may sound shocking and make total sense but if you do not like the dub you do not have to switch tracks since the default will be Japanese.
Its gonna end up like Haruhi all over again giving Holo and the gang too much sh*t to work on as is.

Neckbeards that get up in arms about dubs are the kind of people anime fans don’t need representing them.

Separate dl for dub audio sounds good.
Yay, this would really make my year : ) Shuffle is the anime that really got me into the vast world of 1-2 season long anime (aka stuff other than bleach and naruto) and also got me into intense drama. Thank u so much for doing this : )

The dub was decent enough for me. Didn’t quite click with Nerine’s voice, though, but everyone else was at least okay (nothing like that Clannad dub I heard).
I will, however, temporarily stop listening to the dub (unless I’m already on the Japanese track) when the flashback sequences come by. The dubbing for those sequences was pretty terrible, IMO.
Dub is optional anyway.

Don’t hate on the dub for the pure reason that it’s a dub. Theres a lot of dubs that are really good, sometimes even surpassing the sub (e.g. Gurren Lagann). And remember, Japan isn’t free from bad voice acting. They still have bad dubs as well.
