or rather what issues does vlc player have with the encode that it looks messed up (opening plays just fine)
I don’t know. The fonts are in there, so it must be something specific to the media player.
I just ran all the usual tests, and I’m pretty sure there’s nothing wrong with the release file. No missing fonts, no incorrect MIME types on attachments, no missing styles, and the colorspace is correct. cele, I’d recommend rebuilding your font cache in VLC. If that doesn’t work, then there must be some other issue with your playback setup.
Playing episode 6 ending yesterday had some lag but playing it again today seems to went away and played smooth like episode 5’s ending. Maybe it was a cache thing on my end but I can confirm there is no text mess up on my end.
If you are on a PC, VLC should be the very last resort you go with to play media. Try PotPlayer, MPC-HC or something else.
And a car accident? What happened?
