I just finished watching this anime and I’m seriously disappointed in how it ended…
Eh, there are any number of things that can happen after the fact, which they pretty much leave to your imagination. (Unless you played the game, I’m sure)
I liked it until I heard their promise…
It’s just ridiculous…
This show could’ve been improved 500% if he fucked her, or better yet, Ayase-tan.
There’s a really good doujin called Hoshikuzu Namida by Fujibayashi Haru, 4 parts atm. It’s chilling how closely it is to the LN.
It’s done that way cuz the author had no choice due to Dengeki publisher. There’s a special that wraps things up done like an eroge.
What special? You mean the last 3 eps in s2?

There’s also a short 10 year reunion story in the LN if you go to baka-tsuki and instead read the LN if you have the time because the anime cut a lot of good stuff including Kyousuke’s and Kirino’s monologue and funny scenes. It may also help you understand the outcome of the ending a bit better that the anime failed to do because of shitty producers of the anime who put their own interpretation with that ending scene and either didn’t consult with the author or went their own way. Not to spoil it for others but the author implied the other way and not how the anime was especially that last scene.
Are there still people who don’t know how the ending came about? Due to pusback from the publisher and all the shit about the “healthy youth” law or whatever at the time, the author had to end it the way he did. But he said later in interviews that he meant it to be a complete Kirino victory, and that they end up staying together afterwards. In fact, it’s implied, I think in the end of the LN that they go to a hotel and fucked, so not really any doubt there.

Apparently I’m in the minority here, but I had to stop watching halfway through due to my hatred of Kirino. I mean, I like a decent tsundere, but she just utterly fails to show even a hint selflessness without adding ‘but remember that I still hate you’. Draco Malfoy is a more sympathetic character, and he’s a complete twat.
Like most tsundere’s, in Kirino’s case she’s tsuntsun and deredere (HNNG!) there’s a reason why she acts that way. Especially in the LN which the anime failed to explain.
