(Using KCP and never had any problem.. just can’t play Vol.1 + Vol.2 from this anime)

It only sucks if you use the wrong codec pack in conjunction with it. If you have good codec packs, MPC is great. The players that suck are the ones that don’t work well regardless of what codec pack you have, and/or, even worse, ignores them, and only uses its own codecs. Put it this way, there’s a reason CCCP has always come bundled with MPC. It’s a great and simple player.
if you put that way, then mpc isn’t a great player nor a bad one. but if i put it the simple way it sucks.

Probably because it’s HEVC and your player hasn’t been updated in a while.
Try updating, and If it still doesn’t work, uninstall it and install K-Lite instead.
Tried. MPC is the latest version. Uninstalled KCP and install k-lite. Still only hearing audio, can’t see video.
Did you try a clean install? Uninstall KCP/K-Lite, reboot, install K-Lite.
That worked. Is there no way to get it to work with KCP? I much prefer it over K-lite..
I don’t know how up-to-date KCP is. I recommend K-Lite, especially because they recently added 64-bit madVR.
Which KCP version are you using?? Don’t expect it work with an ancient version. Mine is 0.5.9.0 which isn’t the latest one, but still plays everything perfectly.
Even though I was a K-lite user, I am sticking with KCP as it is lightweight and is developed by an anime community.

If you can play 1920×1080 HEVC, you can transcode FLAC to AAC.

From screens I’ve seen, this show devolves into TV-friendly porn. What a waste, considering I dropped the TV version for the BDs. Now I’m dropping this altogether.
This is clearly an otaku’s virgin dream come true. If I wanted to get off on hentai, I would do so. Not while watching this trainwreck.

I’m not sure on the status of the BD’s or whatever, but I’m beginning to think this one might have been dropped. If so, it’s unfortunate, since not a lot of groups are handling this series and Doki had [by far] the most accurate translated scripts. 🙁
