how is this compared to Yabai’s/Final8’s release?(video quality, not subs)

Final8 changed his settings to reverse the telecine and dropped the frame rate back down to 23.976. Episodes 1-6(v3) were re-encoded accordingly. There were, however, still issues with line art flickering during motion. Doki’s release looks better in that respect, although it seems to be over sharpened, with considerable haloing.
At the moment I’ll be sticking with Yabai’s DVD release.
I don’t think we oversharpened it, more like we need to deHalo it a bit more.
Didn’t know Final8 did a v3. The comparisson uses v2. Thanks for fixing my post Zdm.

Just wondering if these are still getting worked on. Since I have everything else for To Love-Ru from you guys it would be nice to have the first season as well.
In the meantime, the Final8 release is also 720p and uses the same Yabai script.
I might restyle my old copy of match Doki’s typesetting.
