The show promised a lot of things I had enjoyed in other stories. What it delivered was a fast start and a strangely tense atmosphere. The guy seems to be cowardly, weakly motivated and manipulative. More of an anemic villain than even a pushover MC.
The girls for their part are waaayyy too unsuspecting in a school with a notorious pervert group. The guy still doesn’t seem like he has protected any of the girls, he just wants to be the only one who sees their defenseless side. Having talked his way into the gymnasium, and even blackmailing a girl so he can take even more embarrassing photos…an MC that’s just begging for a “School Days Pt 2” ending.
More succinctly, the MC appears to be scum and I don’t want to watch an asshole like that chasing around some of the most naive girls since before KyoAni existed.
