The dub was a typical L.A effort, the same people you’d see in stuff like Code Geass etc dubbed. I didn’t mind it personally but I can see how some people could hate.
I liked the series enough to watch subbed/dubbed personally.
Yes Rawr, but you LIKE watching anime dubbed in general, so…you know…Forgive me if I don’t take your oppinion seriously on this matter. π That works the other way around as well though of course, I hate all dubs with a passion, and think they’re all horrible, so I’m not the right person to ask either…
Lol yup, I don’t mind either way what format my anime comes in. Though pretty much everything I download is subbed, I only really watch dubbed when I’ve bought something on DVD that I like.

First Announced as a DVD project on Monday the 3rd of May 2010, but then had no activity until Monday the 14th of February 2011, where it was suddenly turned into a BD project, and then it went quiet again after that…

Who’s subs did you use for this? or did you use the official ones?
Edited a.f.k. for the series and EnA for the OVA. I think maybe they used some EnA for the series as well, but I’m not sure…
There’s an alternate EnA track in the series too.

Lucky Star is that anime I should hate literally everything about and yet it is one of my favorites. I don’t like the opening or even find it catchy, I don’t usually care about “nothing-but-cute” shows and it was one of my first anime I’ve seen, meaning I understood ZERO of the references. And yet I love it. One of life’s great mysteries.
I actually think it mightο»Ώ have to do with the colors. Everything is so bright and cheerful in this show compared to ANY other show, even other of the moe ones.

I watched the first couple episodes but honestly, a show about nothing is really boring (but I’m glad I got the Kanon reference!)I can see why people would watch the show (Heck, I’ve watched K-On!) but shows based on 4komas don’t really appeal to me in the first place. That being said, I shall try again! and hopefully finish it!
