Three years have passed since I started Doki Fansubs. Besides releasing anime, we have expanded to doing VNs, streaming music, running our own public tracker and maintaining FansubDB.
Our AniDB stats are currently: 122 anime entries, 1370 episodes, 4816 files (20 undumped), 1745 GB. That’s pretty amazing.
Due to time constraints, I haven’t planned anything special for this birthday, apart from this post.
Some of you have probably noticed, but I have not been as active in fansubbing as I was in the past. This is due to studying for my MSc in Biochemical Engineering. I have passed this, and I am due to start a PhD in Biotechnology in January 2013. I am not sure how active I will be after that, but Doki will continue running with or without me, so don’t worry! Meanwhile, I intend to release everything stalled at me before 2013. That includes the After Story and Air Hi10P releases.

I always liked doki subs over any other group so i do my best to stick to watching them and always find you do a great job. I must agree with Kuroshiba that it is impressive you and your team offer great fan subs whilst aiming so high in the world and i and i imagine everyone else wishes you the best of luck =D

I don’t follow whoever runs a fansub group but from what you said you must be a very busy person but anyways thank you for the glad tidings you have brought upon us by giving out free quality fansubs that most of us have enjoyed btw do you just watch shows you sub or how do you even find time to watch anime? or do you only just fansub?

Must admit I’m surprised Holo. Personally thought you watched more anime then that, but then again you’ve been busy with your studies and leader duties here in your spare time so its understandable.

Wow. It almost brings me to tears. I first came here back in September of 2010, right after I first learned about the ecchi genre of anime. I had heard there was an UNCENSORED version of Ladies vs. Buttlers, so I googled it. The very first result was this:

I was VERY, VERY, VERY, satisfied with your release, and when I saw you would be doing Motto To Love Ru I stuck around for the fall season. I have a ton of very precious memories from that fall of my freshman year in college, and checking into doki weekly is one of them.
