The reason they’re not hosting it on mediafire is probably in part due to the fact that they do not participate in an earnings program, where they pay you for more downloads, like depositfiles does (http://depositfiles.com/earn.html).
While that is true, the two major turn-offs of Mediafire are:
1. 200MB/file limit. This means that we would have to split every 720p and 1080p release into multiple files. That would take a lot of time.
2. Mediafire is based in the USA, so they’re more susceptible to FBI takedowns.
@Doki I always use XDCC because it’s always super fast 😛 but for the other groups I use torrents because the non-premium download speeds are pretty bad anywhere.

for the past 3 months, i have been getting terrible speed rates from depositfiles. i used to get around 127kb/s, but for a few months now, i have been getting less than 10kb/s, and after awhile, it will drop off to 0.0kb/s, causing the Download(s) to fail.
i tested by downloading the same files from different sites at the same time, and i get very good speeds from the rest, so depositfiles is not happy with me, i suppose.
I wish you would consider DDLA
it’s much better than any other host for both uploader and downloader and recently it has become very stable
it also has a good Rewards/affiliates System that you can use to pay the server with

2nd, i’m surprised you chosen depositfiles. Worse download speed for free users! When attempting to download a file, the download speed would vary to the lowest possible k/b at times. (well for me anyway) So i wish you would chose something else. Depositfiles would probably work best for the premium users only.
3rd, DDLA is great! Except of their server problems and stuff. I would wait a little longer and see if they become stable and reliable enough before using it as a permanent solution. Better safe than sorry.

The few cents you get won’t amount to anything, as any even remotely sane person will avoid DF because its slugpace speed sucks donkey balls through a straw.
ddla’s speed isn’t the best, but still a huge deal better than DF.
In addition, you can easily tell if a file is 10bit or not just by looking at the file name:

Also, I’ve got to agree with others regarding how horrible Depositfiles is. Download speeds, at least for free users, seems to generally be capped at around 20 kb/s. Sometimes you’ll be able to get higher, but there doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason as to when these times are. Either way, what this means is that a 200 – 300 meg file can take around 5 – 6 hours to download. I’d definitely suggest looking elsewhere for somewhere to host your DDL files.
I actually prefer Depositfiles. Been noticing a some uploaders switching to them since the MU raid. Which was why i got myself a premium a/c. Also helped that they had a 1 month membership whereas before 2 months was the lowest. Files on them seems to have a longer lifespan too.

I *did* read that already, but since you don’t say if this is encoded from .ts or a pre-encoded raw, I still don’t know if this is 10 bit or not.
Thus, you should either say if it’s a pre-encoded raw or not, or say right away if it’s 8 Bit or 10 Bit.
Or you could just learn to read.
