Well, I know a lot of you out there were probably wishing for something a little less out of the blue as a Christmas present, like the spontaneous catch up of various delayed shows. Unfortunately, without any TL to work on them, those things are outside of my power. However, this project was not.
This is a personal favourite of mine that I’ve had up my sleeve for a few months now. I thought, given the fact that most of the story is told in retrospect from one Christmas Eve, it was the perfect little present from me to you this Christmas.
It’s not Doki’s usual business (read: ecchi, noitaminA, moeblobs – though it does have some ecchi) in fact, it’s largely domanated by the theme of romance. I thought though, if you can’t watch something romancy and gooey at Christmas, when can you? (except maybe Valentines…)
I’m sure there’s plenty of you out there who aren’t spending your Christmas exactly the way you’d liked, but I can assure you that you’re not alone. There’s always a silver lining though. Well, unless you’re a homeless person, in which case you probably can’t see this post anyway!
Oh, it has 2 sub tracks. Complex and simple karaoke. The simple is for those of you who still can’t figure out why your PC is lagging my karaoke. The Complex is the default.

You can complain because they didn’t release it in blu-ray but you can’t find better, sometimes 576p but it’s still not much better.
I always wanted a BD release. Sadly, this one was just plain old anamorphic 720×480, DVD.

I”s Pure is one of my favorite. Time to replace my xvid version. To those who like it, I recommend reading the manga as well. I just started reading and it’s really good. Merry Christmas to everyone and especially those who work to bring us these during the holidays.

I might do it in future, but I didn’t like the original OVA much, so chances are slim.

This is a final release. Except for possible patches for spelling errors, if there are any. The original translation was fine, it was the English that was terrible.

I did notice one typo in the first episode (“part” instead of “party”) and a few times throughout the other episodes where there was words missing. But the anime itself was great, thanks very much for releasing this! Merry Christmas!
Could you provide exact examples?
No offence, it’s just I’ve had people tell me there were “words missing” in the past, which turned out to be their own English fails.
I admit it would have been more helpful to write down errors as I watched. I’ll try to check tomorrow or something, but one error I remembered while skipping through them just now is in episode 4, at 9:31. “After all I’ve done for you, you go cute girls like that behind my back!”. I’m not sure what exactly is really meant to be said but that one doesn’t make sense to me.
In episode 6 I caught this spelling mistake at 08:06:
Dialogue: 0,0:08:03.80,0:08:06.54,Default,,0000,0000,0000,,and Isai-san has yells at me almost every day.
IMO, it should be “and Isai-san has yelled at me almost every day.” unless I’m just not reading the whole line right.
Nope, you’re correct. Well, actually, is should be “Isai-san yells at me” not “has yelled”.
lol, clearly I rushed this release a bit much.
Does that mean there will be a v2? I haven’t watched it yet, so I don’t know if there are enough mistakes to make a v2 necessary or not, but I’d rather not download this release if there will be a v2 later on.
