Jun is a guy. They all call him “Jun-kun”. He also used “boku” to refer to himself.
This would imply that there are not ever female characters that use “boku” and are called by “kun”. Just saying :p
I know it looks like he’s wearing a dress, but if you think back to last episode, he’s wearing a hospital gown.
Terms for “I” and honorifics are complicated, and these things are much less deterministic in anime than IRL, but Sumguy’s right. Shu would absolutely not use “kun” about Jun in this circumstance if he believed him to be a girl, and it’d be rare for Jun to use “boku” unless the thought of himself as male or highly masculine. See also: the pre-Lost Christmas scene.

Ireally am enjoying this series, and with the way it is going I am glad it has a rather long run (though 22 episodes is a kind of odd number).
Keep up the god work, and please find someone to substitute translator for Persona 4. I would really prefer to watch your sub of it if/when you are able to release it
