Okay, first of all let me apologise for the lateness of this episode. TL was at a charity event over the weekend, which was then followed by the timer disappearing. We’ll be back to the usual Saturday or Sunday release this week, I hope.
Now I’m sure many people are wondering wtf is up with our other shows at the moment.
Persona 4 The Animation and Chibi Devi: Our TL for both of these has gone MIA without a word. We’re not sure where she is, but here’s hoping she’s okay. If she doesn’t turn up over the weekend, I’ll employ someone to take her place, on either a temporary or more permanent basis.
The iDOLM@STER and Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai: The TL for both of these shows has also gone somewhat MIA. Again, we have no idea what’s happening, but we’re pretty sure he’ll be back soon enough.
Either way, for now, this group of shows is Delayed and we will endeavour to bring you each one as soon as our homing trackers pick up the signal on our wayward TL’s or we find replacements.

Quick question, i’ve always wondered this– what is the warning that is normally between the OP and beginning of epi in some anime? Is it just simply a rating warning (e.g akin to our ‘parental discretion is advised’?)

There’s not much need for “adult content” warnings on most anime we’d be releasing, since it all airs at times like midnight and 2am.

No I didn’t. I know that Lucky Star and those 10-bit KEY releases won’t be worked on until Holo comes back, and I assume he’l be busy with school until atleast the end of desember, so I don’t need to ask about those. So at the moment, I’l only be bugging Dys about SHUFFLE!, and Zdm about Haruhi-chan in the future. ; )

Oh, right. I suppose that’s true. But in my case, I’m not that good at knowing where the line is drawn. Like my message to Dys a little further up there for example. “insert show X where?” comments can be seen as either a complaint or an inquiry really, depending on how you look at it. Though in my case it’s a bit of both. ; ) Nagging, I’d call it. Not really asking: “WHY IS SHUFFLE NOT HERE YET!? RARG!!”, but more like “so what’s up with SHUFFLE?”, or “where has the SHUFFLE release gone?”. Like an inquiry, but with a tiny hint of complaining in it. Ah, whatever. :p

Who didn’t know haganai and p4 were delayed. But I truely appreciate that the tags next to the schedule are updated now and this should have been announced a while ago. But it’s okay atleast I learned something useful from the comments…. Chihiro is doing a sub on haganai, I might as well go check that out while waiting for you guys to catch up.

The news was saying why things were delayed, not that they were delayed. Good job missing the point.
I dont really think the whys matter. What matters more is that they are delayed. Besides its not anyone has died and thats the reason these shows are delayed so everything else is a excuse isnt it?
Are you serious? People are taking time out of their busy lives to fansub these shows and provide them to you for free. You are reaping the benefits of the hard work of others, and you want to talk about excuses? If you honestly think that getting an episode of an anime show fansubbed several days quicker for your pleasure is much more important than things like work, school, charity, family, etc., you need a serious reality check. I’m glad I don’t live in your nightmare fantasy world where the only acceptable reason for anything is someone DYING.

Even providing an update was because I thought some people might appreciate knowing what I already know.

Unlike apparently everyone else around, I prefer to download SD encodes, because the computer I use for watching anime can’t play HD without lagging to hell, so when the only option is HD I have to wait 6 hours while my encoding computer re-encodes the episode and then put up with the messed up subtitle fonts and bigger file sizes that come with not having the encoding magic you guys do.
Chihiro only do HD, but without knowing why, I might have gone to the extra effort. Thanks to the status update, I’ll stick around and wait til you catch up. 🙂
