It’s cause… translators have lives too. Amazing I know.
Though it looks like Doki only really has two active translators, Thaerin and Mimori (P4) so only those two shows are regularly released. Some translators just can’t commit the time.
I’m not sure where you’re getting the idea that there are only two active translators, and that’s why things aren’t always released at the same time. :S All it takes is a quick look at the staff page to see that there are a LOT of people working on a lot of different projects! Different people for different releases means different paces for things that come out.
LOL, I was just about to mention Amarok and his awesome release of Guilty Crown that comes out regularly each week (it’s not speed sub guys, so you can’t expect Thursday/Friday). Kuzu, from Chihiro is partnering with us to make Mashiro-iro happen. Also, let’s not forget that regardless of speed, Mogu is doing what he can to bring you TWO shows in the midst of other responsibilities. Please, get to know us. We don’t bite.

The worrying thing is the Chinese fab subs does it in a day. I confess I watch the Chinese fabsubs and then wait for Doki for the English for keeps. π
We usually have it released 11-14 hours after it airs. Pretty sure that counts as “in a day”.
This week and the week after next Thaerin has to work, so both weeks will be delayed. Can’t be helped.

There’s a spelling error in the latest UN-GO episode. At 05:03, the ‘Search Mode’ there is written as ‘Serach Mode’

Hi, I can’t seem to see subtitles when I use zoomplayer. I installed the latest CCCP codec (july 2011) and re-installed it, but still can’t see subtitles. Is there a different codec / version of zoomplayer I should be using to see the subtitles. (and yes, I did check to make sure subtitle was checked/on)
I test and release with MPC in mind, so no idea about zoomplayer. Probably better to check their website for troubleshooting.

Just outta curiosity, what’s becoming of Iroha BD and A-channel BDs???
Iroha BDs are being pushed along by me as I’m TLCing the script to a new standard (it had about six different TL’s over the course of its airing). It’s low priority, but still on the radar. Once I get through everything else, you’ll start seeing them pop up. Sorry for the wait, but I can assure you it will be worth it!
Wait, the new light green hair guy’s seiyuu is the same as Ohma Shu’s from Guilty Crown, isn’t he?
From what I heard, yes it appears so xD I heard it’s Kaji Yuuki. He’s also the seiyuu of Sion from No.6! ;D
