Well, we’ve finally reached the end of this demonic stall. To finish, I’ll leave you with some comments from the people who worked on this show. Please note the following opinions do not reflect those of Doki as a whole. In fact, some of these folks are just jackasses.

I’m really excited to present to you all, my first translated series, and of course I’ll treasure it myself. As fun as was, it’s been a rough journey. But I couldn’t have made it through without these guys. I’ll have you know, I am the only staff member who has worked on every single episode. (I even timed a few myself.) Speaking of which, I’ll look forward to seeing you guys again next season on Guilty Crown as a timer. (Taking a break from what I didn’t realize would be so much work.) Nyu~

I hated working on this show. No raws followed by no CCs followed by no editor followed by no TLC followed by no workraw followed by no encodes. A slow and painful process followed by high-300 to 400 lines is awful. T_T Tip: Don’t pick up 4 shows even if you’re only QCing them. If you QC for Flammia, be careful as he’s a radical editor… However, there is one good thing about working on Mayo Chiki, I really enjoyed working with my fellow co-workers.

K. for real. this show has annoyed me more then any other thing I’ve worked on up-to-date, coming in here on episode 5, and having to work on these scripts around 2 hours to fully get this done, it’s been a major pain, not even mentioning the rage that was blown at me when I 1st came here. Still TLCing 1-4 for the BD’s. The delays… I don’t even want to mention them, so much triggers causing them, psi already wrote them down on the 10th episode, so I won’t.

based on the comments above, i’m one of the only real people who enjoyed working on this series (almost) every week. This show was a big change for me, as previously i worked with some great teams who always finished their shows the day the show aired(it helped that we always had a raw back then). Mayo Chiki has given us both ups and downs, and Cho definitely worked hard to translate it for us, even though it was his first time. though, i guess all “good” things must come to an end, and Mayo Chiki has been one hell of a ride.
With that said, Chiki’s batch will probably be a little while, as the others have been.

Not interested in the show but just wanted to comment on the comments in the original post.
Azurehakuas post didn’t come accross as majorly negative, I think if anything Hakua just sounded over worked, like he/she was in over his/her head with the amount of work he/she had to do.
(Sorry I don’t know Hakua so unsure about the gender)
That said they seemed happy to work with one another.
Also congrats to the Mayo Chiki team for finishing the show off, I’m sure all of you did a great job, just I’m not into this kind of show so I can’t say for 100 percent sure, just yeah good job :3
I’m a guy. xP And yes, Mayo Chiki wasn’t all that bad, I really enjoyed everyone who worked on it with me. The staff members there were all really nice. Motivation-wise, however, no one wanted to do anything, and people went missing for a day or two before doing their job. And that’s the first point I was trying to say.
This didn’t feel like an ending at all. Is that maybe hinting at a second season, or was there just no good stopping point?
Yeah, i was left with a bitter taste at that ending.
Where the fuck was Suburu?
Same thing happens in most other harem shows, no real ending, the main character makes no real decisions about anything, the plot is just assumed to go on and on forever with things remaining unchanged.
I guess that’s a plus if you like something enough and just want to watch more of it, even if there’s still never any real conclusion.
But at least it seems like certain shows are finally drawing the line at a few seasons and an OVA/Movie or two (Shana) so maybe this will start a new trend and we’ll get more shows that actually conclude.
No. I’m not talking about a Type 1 Tenchi Solution, where the status quo is maintained. This didn’t make any attempt to wrap up things at all. It seems like just another episode.
It wasn’t an ending. We mentioned last episode that THAT was basically the ending. This ep is more like an OVA with an “alternate path.” Think the extra Clannad eps….

Would of been great if it ended at 12. Episode 13 kinda left a bad after taste minus the cosplay and Mirai Suenaga cameo appearance.
Kanade was hot but underused, it would have been a lot better if she was causing several incidents of mischief (and fanservice) every episode.
Whatever, glad it’s done and over, moving on to other things. Thanks for the release and finishing the show before the end of the month!
Was this perhaps a bonus episode? I feel like episode 12 was the ending and this was more like an OVA. I’m going to keep thinking that because it makes me feel more satisfied.

This is seriously the last episode!? WTF what kinda ending episode is this? I feel sooooo gypped. I agree with KeoSakai that I will have to think of ep12 as the final and this more of an OVA because I feel less screwed over that way.

Just finished watching the entire series. Thanks for the release. I agree that episode 13 was disappointing. If they’re going to do the alternate ending, they should have done one for Usami and Suzutsuki too.
