Because I wonder about such things –and it sounded like a deli sandwich with mayonnaise and chickpeas.
The English of the title is intriguing: Then it sounds like a dinner trying to avoid being served, which sort of fits the series as well.
Well, it is a play on words as well. You might have noticed in the anime there’s lots of references to mayonnaise and chicken. 😛

The biggest play on words in this series is the Butlers (Shitsuji) and Lambs (Hitsuji). As you’ve all noticed, Subaru-sama simply loves them.
Yeah, that one is mostly lost in translation. The big lamb costume caught me by surprise in this episode as well.
