Probably another stupid question which you have already been asked, but… Are the 2006 episodes REALLY worth of 1080p?

If season 2 also looked bad for 1080p, I would not have done season 1 in 1080p. However, season 2’s 1080p looks acceptable, so i had to season 1 for consistency.
If we download in the DDL now, do we still need the batch?

Ah, sadly even on my brand new desktop, the Bouken Desho Desho opening still lags slightly during the scene with Haruhi running through the ‘space-time corridor’ due to the number of particles that are moving.
Whatever the case, brilliant release nonetheless. (^.^)
Completely offtopic here but speaking of that opening, the region 1 DVDs had heavy Pixelation on that scene you just mentioned, no idea if its in these files but it was a widely reported issue anyway lol
Without sounding clueless(As I havent seen this in HD) Maybe the issue isnt with your laptop but more the funky opening scene itself?

Congrats on the final batch! This is MUCH appreciated. So far, this release looks better than any other groups! Looking forward to the dual audio (I can’t believe I actually said that about english audio, but I’m a sucker for something being complete).

Sorry to sound stupid, but how do you patch it. Or should I upgrade to the 1080p version because later this month I’m going to get a 24″ 1080p monitor and I’m wondering if it’ll make a difference. Even if it makes a small difference I’ll download for future proof and flac.
I have a 24″ 1080p monitor, and I can tell you that unless you sit right at you monitor while watching, you probably wont notice a difference between 1080 and 720. The screen is simply too small/sharp. Plus, this show wasn’t very good quality to start with on the BDs as Holo said, especially since season 1 was an up-convert IIRC.
I’ll stick with the 720p’s then but each time I try to patch it, it says that the files weren’t found, how do I fix that issue.
put the files into the folder. make sure they are named as they were originally
I would doublecheck the names, too. I was patching my ep 5-28 last night and episodes 6 & 5 wouldn’t patch because I’d downloaded them when they were listed with the long names, and the patch was looking for the shortened names later eps used. So after I changed those two files’ names they patched.
This feels like an event that should be marked and celebrated. There’s only one Clannad. There’s only one Haruhi. How about celebratory haikus for Holo and team?

In the opening in the romaji “ashita kado ni natta kyou no ima ga kiseki”, the “kado” has to be “kako” from past. In the English translation is the word past, even though kako is not in the romaji.

Then you should buy it, you cheap git. The whole reason for subbing groups is to be able to enjoy anime when you don’t speak Japanese or the NA releases subs suck (which they almost always do).
imo doki really shouldn’t give in to the dark side by releasing English audio in the first place.
Theres nothing wrong with people wanting English audio, as there are no HD releases of this on Blu Ray in America, Europe or anywhere except Japan.
I’m all for supporting the industry, but as someone who bought both seasons on DVD, Season 2 was a waste of money. £30 or so for 8 Endless Eight eps, 5 eps covering 1 story, and 1 standalone episode. Blah..
