No no no. This is a 2 hour OVA condensing the first 12 episodes (~8 hours) of the tv series. The one coming out on Friday will be the same deal but covering the latter half of the tv series.

Any new meaningful content btw or is this literally segments of episodes 1-12 spliced together following the time line. For some reason I feel like this will be watching battle after battle lol

Honestly if these are just segments stitched together from the first 12 episodes is there really a point, because I don’t see one. Seems to me like a waste of time. If anyone else can enlighten me on why this was even made I would love to know. Thx for the effort and releases but I won’t be downloading unless someone convinces me that there is a positive in getting this.
I’m not too sure on a positive, but I think they were made just as quick catch up or fill in for people who were going to watch the movie?

Yeah, these 2 OVAs was released before UBW-movie came, so those who didn’t want to watch all the 24 episodes could watch these 2 summaries instead. I recommend watching all the episodes anyway though.
And Eclipse never released these: With use Eclipse’s subs, which Holo said, was meant to check each scene in the OVA to the respective episode and use that translation, I think.
