Wow. An amazing movie.
v2 changelog
- Fabulous rainbow karaoke removed, replaced with natural softsubbed karaoke. (Holo style)
- Re-styled to match the other Bungaku Shoujo OVA.
- Re-typesetted. (v1’s typesetting or lack thereof was shocking)
- Re-edited. (v1 edit was iffy)
- Re-QCed. (v1 QC was shocking)
- Entire ED subbed/K-timed/Kara’ed
- Encoded from BDMV. (v1 was shitty raw)
In other words, this version is exponentially better than v1.
Many many thanks to ZeroYuki for translating this masterpiece for us.

W this it’s completed. Thanks ^^
One of the view things in life I will re-watch again and again.
w00t, 480p later, nicynice
thanks for that Doki crews ;D
best movie.
Can you make some compare shots w/ QTS 720p and Yousei 1080p video pls?
I do not see the point, as those are raws and this is a direct encode from BDMV. Also I do not have the specificed raws on my PC, so I can’t do this comparison.
Thnks. Now I can fap every night.
That comment made my day 😀
How do you fap to Production I.G works? Like do you fap to Kimi ni Todoke? There is hardly any ecchi in them.
please i need the 480p version
i need lolis
trade?
I need Onee-sans, give? XD
Is 720/1080p upscale?
Yay finally it’s here xD been waiting for this!
i heard good things about this movie…i will give it a go
i am surprised about the filesize i woulda thunk the 1080 would be larger size for a movie of this length
when will the 480p version out?please
it will out whenever i feel like outing it. please stop asking.
Stupid non-English subbers and their fucking whining. Do you see now why you have to hardsub something in a release? That way they don’t even bother to pester about an encode.
Glad i havn’t seen it as yet, now with the HQed version it’s definitely next on my queue.
sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for the release
many thanks
I loved that karoake. Thanx for the release!
You guys are awesome! I love this series.
Wouldn’t this be v3? Or is the v2 2222467E I have unofficial?
That was a unofficial patch created by a visitor called justinefremlouw and was gladly being used by all. Also, pre-encoded raw was used for the previous version of this movie and current one is encoded from BDMV.
So by all means, it’s different in almost every way. I suggest you download this version.
Thanks for the clarification. ^_^
Bout to watch the new version.
Yes, a v2! The picture looks much better than v1
Hmmm…I guess I will have to download this and compare it with Monokage’s version, which I downloaded first (and it was very good)…should be interesting.
Thanks! This will probably be the last one that ZeroYuki TL’ed for now until the end of his “tour of duty.”
Thank you for this beautiful movie (and OAVs too).
Should I get the OVA or there’s no problem watching this movie first?
There’s no problems.
I really appreciate the subbing work you have done, and loved this movie.
However, there where 2 problems I had when watching the movie.
1st. when you see the red postbox for the first time, the subbing kept flickering on and off when the it slowly zoomed in, and left the above line nearly completely out.
2de. maybe not that big but the karaoke when the credits role are partially off screen and I can’t read the top half of the English translation since it was cut in half.
I used the CCCP 2010 for Media-player-classic
it Kinda got me a bit out of the atmosphere of the movie, but was still enjoyable. And thanks for letting me enjoy this.
First issue sounds like your CPU couldn’t handle the typesetting. Second issue sounds like a problem with subtitle settings. I would encourage you to try klite codec pack.
Sorry for the double post, but I almost forgot.
After the Credits ends al the subbing stops for “after credits prologue” until you see the text of thought with the white background from Inoue Konoha, then the subtitling starts working again.
And there was a double voice at the end titling singing as background that starts at 1:38:05, next to the lead singer. Which wasn’t translated
I hope you could somehow translate that small part too.
Yet again using CCCP 2010-10-10 version.
Hope this is helps.
Those overlaps are not found in the official lyrics. It sounded like Latin but I don’t know Latin. I’m using the official lyrics found on their single “Haruka na Hibi” http://www.kasi-time.com/item-47742.html
My guess is Eufonius uses made-up language which doesn’t have any meaning at all. This is similar to Kalafina whose composer makes up her own language. You can hear it a lot in their Kara no Kyoukai theme songs. It’s named after their composer Yuki Kajura called the “Yuki Kajura Language”
