Finally, I present you with the HQ version of Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha The Movie 1st.
Due to the source of the audio being 5.1 Ch DTS-HDMA, I have decided to extract the DTS stream and use that. Converting it into FLAC would result in an audio stream twice as large. Having listened to the extracted DTS and the converted FLAC, I can hear absolutely no difference, therefore I shall be using the DTS stream for the 720p and 1080p releases, to avoid bloating the filesize. 480p version will use an AAC stream, encoded from the 2.0 Ch LCPM stream from the Blu-Ray.
I have provided 2 ASS streams in the releases. Default is without the English. The second stream has the English subbed. I recommend you to watch it with the default (No English) stream, however, you may switch if you really can’t understand it when Raising Heart and Bardiche speak English.

Doki is sorry to say this, but we have phased out on SD .avi releases. We do suggest though that you try our .mkv SD release since there’s no harm in doing so. PC’s that derive from the last decade should be able to play our releases. If not, perhaps it’s time for you to upgrade or buy a new computer? ^_-

If your knowledge of Japanese is limited, the official subs will not seem odd to you.

@Tsukino Kaji: Doesn’t help if they’re overly liberal. That’s the problem with many of the english subs on japanese releases. They’re often even more liberal than US releases.
I didn’t check the release yet, but did they even omit all kinds of honorifics? Wouldn’t surprise me.

Liberal translations are indeed terrible and I wouldn’t be surprised at all if the official subs were awful.

only had one problem with the release. why Raising Heart instead of Raging Heart? i know its probably just an oversight and it really didnt take away from the movie, just a heads up for the HQ release.

Because it IS Raising Heart.
It could actually be either one, because the japanese sound for “zi” and “ji” is the same, aka the character for “shi” with with the 2 quote marks in in the top right (I forget what they’re actually called). Personally though, I would go with “Raging Heart” because it sounds cooler, but that’s just me. It’s not really anything significant enough to complain about.
While true, the information that came with the DVD of A’s confirmed it as Raising Heart and in StrikerS it’s lots more noticeable as Raising Heart.
In all official material, it’s printed and stated as Raising Heart. While I would admit that Raging Heart sounds far cooler, I’d rather go with the original.
