There are some notes I would like to make about this episode.
1) You get to see all the 3 girls (Eris, Manami and Aoi) naked, tits everywhere.
2) There are 2 signs that consist in basically the same activity. “Cooking Rice” and “Rice Washing”. I believe that the assitaroids that hold those signs have both the #17. The ones who watched the episode know that those are like twins and help each other everytime. From that perspective it kinda makes sense to have similar activities in 2 different signs.
3) There is a sign around 17:10, when one of #17 gets kidnapped that is not translated/typeset. Why? 2 things basically, there isn’t a proper translation for it and it’s more like a cultural reference. This »» link «« will clear your doubts. The same “sign” also appears in the OP and the ED.

Yay, tits! o/
Looks like I’ll be getting these instead of the older TV versions now. Still have yet to watch it, looks decent.
Woo! Tits!
thank for the work, this is good fanservice.oppai and dfc ftw.
Doesn’t the BDs have 24 bits per sample for the audio? How come yours only got 16?
Do you know what is eac3to, if not use google for it.
Thats all.
Yes I know what eac3to is. LPCM, which is on the disc, usually doesn’t have padding, that’s why I asked.
8 of the bits went on holiday. They will be back after Christmas.
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
Holo: you’re my hero x3
This was the first of the episodes I was waiting for in BD! Tits FTW!
Um, anyone who thinks that “rice washing” and “rice cooking” are the same fails hard.
“Rice washing” is the act of presoaking the rice to remove excess starch. It’s that excess starch that makes rice stick together when it’s cooked – so washing it (with a little scrubbing action usually done with both hands) helps prevent it from sticking. The water is usually milky when you’re done, and can be used to thicken other things – it Western cooking what’s left is called a “rue”.
Rice cooking is the act of steaming the rice after washing, either (modern-day) in a rice cooker or (traditional) in a bamboo steamer suspended over a boiling water source – a pot or pan with boiling water.
There’s a REASON why two separate signs were used for the two activities – and if you’re second-guessing the culture that actually uses that tradition, that’s a heavy fail as a translator.
Yeah, for a professional translator it’d be a fail, lol. You’re being unreasonably harsh there, for it being free and all. Also, I don’t think it’s that unusual not knowing the difference/meaning of it when not being asian. This is just nit-picking anyway. I mean, who cares for something like that?
No one cares. Well except those looking to intentionally shit on Doki and attention seekers.
Good you found an error. Pat yourself on the back and move along.
You, good sir, failed to troll. 1st off the signs are translated and typeset correctly. 2nd, when I said in the post that it consist in basically the same, I meant that someone that will cook rice could as well wash it before hand, because that’s what we do here. It was just a note, and there is no need to go overboard and create drama.
Didn’t this last week give you enough already? 😐

I thought bd 3 is released on 2010.11.26?Did it come out early or something? This contain episode 5 and 6?
BD Vol. 2 brings episode 03 and 04. And yes, BD Vol. 3 comes out November 26th.
So is this bd vol.2 or bd vol.03?
Sorry I think I make a mistake.The number 03 that is beside
Asobi ni Iku Yo!(BD).Is that the episode number or is that the bd vol number?
These are not volumes, these are episodes.
Oh I see.
Thanks again for this! 🙂 Is the patch for ep. 2 is for some corrections? And to the one who “technically” differentiate the rice making activity, the note only tells the activity was done there by the two #17’s, seperately. No failure of translating there.
If there is a patch you should download it and use it. Regardless of the changes for the v2. <.<
Ok. Thanks again!
thanks for release.
Is the patch zip file ok?
I downloaded it 3 times but it is always defective (bat and exe files missing)…
which one of the 3 versions? <.<
i’m confused .. there’s a patch for both episode 2 bd and 3 bd?
Thanks for that , useful stuff. I get so bored of plain rice but I’m not exactly very good in the kitchen. There’s loads of good ideas at this rice recipes site I found that your readers might like too.
