If you live in Japan, you can score a SR+ Rika by playing five Idolmaster songs on Taiko no Tatsujin at your local arcade with a Bana Passport prepaid card or NFC-compatible phone. Now somebody please tell me why arcades don’t exist in America.

Thank for ep.5 -/\-
142mb? How is that even possible?
I have been always in awe of all recent doki’s release encode size. Can the encoder or any-you-know-how please share the settings/way of encode please? ^_^ I would like to encode all anime in my achieve to such size and quality. That will save a lot of space in my HDD ^_^
I’m Doki’s encoder for this season. If anyone has any encoding questions for me, I can usually be found in #doki so feel free to ping me.
Also, I appreciate everyone’s compliments. I will continue striving for efficient encodes!
They’ve died out in the states because consoles get most of the support, our arcade games were never interconnected online and we don’t have useful denominations of coins.
Or maybe cause people can’t be bothered to go outside anymore.
And probably because anyone seen playing the Idolm@ster would get some rather choice…comments/reactions.
Arcade owners also never really took care of their stores and never tried making it a viable hangout once you reached high school. Dave and Busters is about it.
also loving the encode size ;D
Thanks! I know the advantage of Hi10P is the file size, what is the disadvantage of Hi10P? Or there’s none?
Hi10P needs CPU power to decode, meaning it won’t play nice with any devices relying on hardware decoding like a Raspberry Pi or Roku.
Another reason why I love Japan. They still have arcades! Lots of them too! Based Japan! 😀
I was surprised how small the file size of GJ-Bu was. Doki’s encodes are the best I know, even with 8bit 😀
@Rokudaime acrades in japan are cool, they are either called geisen or geimu sentaa but it’s sucks, one reason america sucks,
Round 1, a Japanese chain, is trying to build a presence in America.
